This Strategic Goal focuses on available RE technologies that can be used to strategically divert energy intensive customers from the Grid (relieving pressure on Grid) while accommodating new customers Off-Grid to offset energy demand (besides any energy efficiency measures). This SG also proposes electricity savings solutions through the use of alternative to electricity technologies using thermal, mechanical, or other means.
