SADC Renewable Energy Entrepreneurship (Technical) Support Facility

The SADC Renewable Energy Entrepreneurship (Technical) Support Facility established in 2017 by SACREEE with the support of IRENA is calling for SADC-based entrepreneurs to submit their applications for technical support. The support is offered in the following areas:

  1. Refining renewable energy project proposals in order to reach bankability.
  2. Enterprise development through the Facility’s mentorship and training programme.

The deadline for applications is 15 November 2019.

Women entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply.

National Scheme for Emerging/Innovative Renewable Energy Technologies

The Mauritius Renewable Energy Agency (MARENA), operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Energy and Public Utilities, in collaboration with Mauritius Research Council (MRC) and the Central Electricity Board (CEB), is pleased to invite proposals from prospective Developers/Promoters under the “National Scheme for Emerging/Innovative Renewable Energy Technologies”.

Proposals addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, should be either deposited in the Tender Box located at Level 4, Sir Célicourt Antelme Street, The Celicourt Building, Port Louis 11302, Republic of Mauritius, OR sent by registered post or Courier Service to reach on or before Wednesday 28 August 2019 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian time) at latest. Late bids will not be considered. The name of the scheme ("National Scheme for Emerging/Innovative Renewable Energy Technologies") applied for should be clearly marked on the top left hand corner of the envelope.
